This is the profile of CEO Hyunjin-nim, who is the pillar of our 'HyunjinAeong' channel and for whom 24 hours isn't enough these days.

Another Day of Debut Training (Web variety)

To be honest, the Web variety 'Another Day of Debut Training' means a lot to us.

This was the first independent schedule that Hyunjin had to endure alone with her name riding on it, without any flashy support.

And this was the project of destiny that brought the current 'Team HyunjinAeong' staff together!šŸ¾


"The Dee-eep Camaraderie That Bloomed from Harsh Ground"

In those days, instead of a fancy agency system, Hyunjin CEO-nim and we staff had to put our heads together and take care of everything from one to ten.

CEO-nim planned her own schedules while devoting herself to dance and vocal practice, and we ran all over on site as we stayed her side.

Mistakes? That only makes us stronger!

It was the beginning so we were clumsy, and we heard some harsh words when we ran into unexpected difficulties but...

To be honest, thanks to that, our teamwork gained 'venom'.

We came together as one, under the thought of "Who's going to protect our CEO-nim if not for us!"

šŸš€Becoming the roots of 'Team HyunjinAeong'

All of those deep thoughts and challenges we faced during the Web variety 'Another Day of Debut Training',

have become the most dependable foundations that made Hyunjin CEO-nim able to do her part in anything she does, without being shaken.

More than anything, this was a historic time that shaped our CEO and the staff into a 'true team' that believes and relies on each other,

so we are convinced that it was an experience more valuable than any flashy success!

Thanks to the tight wartime bond(?) that was created back then,

to this day we 'Team HyunjinAeong' continue to reliably support all of CEO-nim's activities as if we are family, and at times as professional partners. (Our teamwork is honestly no joke, you know.šŸ˜Ž)

Everyone, these days the hottest topic among us 'HyunjinAeong' team is soccer.

We thought it would be just another TV appearance, but the passion is almost like the national team tryouts!

I still can't forget Hyunjin CEO-nim's face, when she was first contacted about auditioning for 'Shooting Stars'.

She was happy as if she had the whole world when she was contacted, but then she turned serious.

"Am I really gonna be able to play soccer well? I don't want to half-bake it..."

Because of that 'authenticity' towards soccer, our CEO-nim stayed up nights pondering until she was confirmed for the show. But the moment those thoughts ended, she immediately turned into 'all into soccer' mode!

Yes, that's right. To be honest, we staff... are a little (a lot) tired these days. šŸ˜‚

Why? Because CEO-nim's passion for soccer doesn't leave us alone.

(In fact that video was from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day..... Uh... CEO..nim...?)

  • Forced training summons: When she says "Hey guys, should we lightly(?) kick some balls around today, get our teamwork up and all?" That represents the beginning of the training from hell. With the staff assembled, CEO-nim does passing training... tactics discussions... She is endlessly thinking about how to fill up the skills she's lacking in

Ever since Hyunjin CEO-nim joined 'Shooting Stars', we came up with a new nickname within our team.

Namely, 'the Question Mark Murderer'! Because she is so serious about soccer that her questions never stop, 24 hours a day.

  • The tactics obsession: "How was my positioning just now? Am I supposed to run here like this? Why?"

  • The detail-oriented madness: "What part of my foot do I need to make contact with for this kick? How about this movement? How about defense?"

  • The infinite feedback: (Watching practice film) "So I wasn't able to keep up here right? Yes? How should I deal with that?"


Everyone, you've been curious about who's behind the JikwonieAeong, right?

My background is actually ... a YouTube PD!

Yes, that's right. My honest desire

is to figure out the fun editing spots, film CEO-nim's cute side and produce videos that are going to bring in the views!!!


I want to film YouTube content that's really pretty and fun, you know?

But our Hyunjin CEO-nim... Whenever we go into training or a practice match, she uses my camera as the 'analytics CCTV'.

  • How the CEO feels: "PD-nim, did you film that moment of impact on my foot? Please send me the video. With your feedback!"


So when filming ends, I return to the office and open my drive...

Other than the "Hi!" at the beginning and "Thank you for your hard work!" at the end,

the whole thing is just soccer practice. (Maybe I need to change careers and become a soccer analyst...šŸ˜‚)

Honestly, it's a shame to keep these to myself.

The way Hyunjin CEO-nim is so brutally(?) grinding, questioning, and growing on the pitch...

Everyone, this is honestly such a tiny slice of it... I film from behind so that I don't interfere with the training, so sometimes I'm not able to film, and sometimes I get put into the game as a defender... (When they're working on team tactics)

And yet, my external drive is still overflowing with videos.


But if you all want, I'll post a soccer training video without CEO-nim knowing.

šŸ’ŖThe reason why we still have her grinding 'even more'!

We may be tired, but we staff never stop.

We are actually training CEO-nim even harder(?) right now. Why?

Because it is true that Hyunjin's skills are still lacking. But we have no doubts about her passion.


Hyunjin doesn't express her emotions much anywhere she goes, but on the ride back home after a game,

she gets angry about her own lacking skill, and feels guilty towards the team (I told her to express that a bit more but she hasn't been able to...)


When we see CEO-nim being like that, we can see how badly she wants it and how she's growing.

So that her skills can improve. whenever we see CEO-nim we find ourselves yelling "One more go!" (CEO-nim, you know this is all because we love(?) you right? šŸ˜˜)


Of course, it might look to you like she is lacking. No she actually is! Just being real!

But what's needed for Hyunjin right now isn't scathing criticism, it's a warm word of encouragement, "You can do it".

That word becomes the greatest energy that picks our CEO-nim back up, and makes her run one more step on the next match.


She might still be a little clumsy as a rookie, but our Hyunjin CEO-nim is more serious about this than anyone!

Yet another face of CEO-nim, the band LatencyšŸŽø

Lastly, let us clarify a bit about CEO-nim's membership status, which many people are curious about.

Hyunjin CEO-nim is currently an official 'HyunjinAeong' CEO as a sole entertainer, but just for her band activities, she is performing as a member of Latency, who is signed under 'Ordinary Records'!



  • "An area we cannot help in", in actuality, we "HyunjinAeong" staff are in charge of CEO-nim's individual activities and her YouTube. So when it comes to her team activities, practicing and performing as the band Latency, that is an area where we cannot directly help her.šŸ˜¢

  • Juggling a superhuman schedule! When we see CEO-nim's backside as she walks away, moving onto band practice immediately after an exhausting training for 'Shooting Stars' (at least we can tag along for this and film for her!), we all feel for her a lot. Shouldering the two heavy burdens of individual activities and band team activities, she often runs into the limits of her stamina. But rather than giving up, Hyunjin bites down on her lips, saying "I want to pull off both perfectly."

    Team 'HyunjinAeong' is always on CEO-nim's side! Even though we cannot be with her at her band activities, watching CEO-nim grow so visibly each day in that passion is a big inspiration for all of our team members. No matter where she is, or what team she performs as part of, never forget that Hyunjin CEO-nim's home base(?) is right here! (Wherever we are is home base!!! Even though we may be physically apart, in our hearts we are cheering for CEO-nim on that Latency stage!

Up until now, I've told you about our 'Aeong CEO-nim's fierce solo journey and soccer and band activities.

To be honest, there is a whole mountain of stories that we still haven't gotten to today. (My hard disk is screaming!šŸ˜‚)
