As its second entry, H:sean's "Honestly" has taken on a deep pink charm and been reborn as Heejin(Loona)'s "Honestly". Heejin, who is highly regarded in every facet of an idol member including vocal, rap and dance, properly shows off her prowess as a vocalist in this solo. Heejin's "Honestly" is a future bass reinterpretation that emphasizes the synths in the drop while maintaining the original's R&B feel. Whereas the original moved through a measured progression, Heejin's "Honestly" progresses dynamically with ever-changing sounds that are like the diverse colors she possesses. [Heejin's message] Working as part of a group, I often need to tailor my tone to the direction of the song. Sometimes I even confuse myself, and this song came to me as a great opportunity. I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect my calmer voice. [H:sean's message] My song "Honestly" reflects the emotions of many kinds of love in an uncertain state, like in flirting or a crush. It represents a situation that you might have experienced at least once if you have loved, so I think many people may be able to identify as they listen! It's so meaningful that Ms. Heejin got to do a remake of this song in a different vibe than the original, through this great opportunity. In these happy days lately, Orbits have been doing well right? I imagine you must be going through the beginning of summer along with us heheh Today is my fifth solo debut anniversary!🤭 I guess because I didn't really do solo promotions after debuting, I often forget about it. But every time I celebrate like this, I think back and realize that I've grown a lot since then!🥴 My Orbits might be thinking the same! Right? Never mind if not~!🙄 Anyway! Comparing back to solo debut, I am actually proud of how I am now. Even though I've always only thought that I was lacking! LOONA member Chuu is set to move to a new home. According to officials within the music industry on the 22nd, Chuu is deep in preparations to partner with By4M Studios for a new start. The two parties are said to have agreed to carry out future activities together, and are working out the details of an exclusive contract. Previously, towards the end of last year, it had been reported that Chuu filed a court injunction against her agency, Blockberry Creative, to suspend her exclusive contract, and that the court had partially granted the application for injunction. On this, Blockberry Creative has remained silent so far. Chuu entered the music industry in December 2017 through the LOONA debut project, releasing a solo song. She started official activities as a LOONA member the year after, and has increased her popularity through steady variety activities. By4M Studio is known for being active in social media-based digital marketing, and is attempting to expand its business into the entertainment sector. Meanwhile, Chuu’s group LOONA has recently made a comeback with summer special album Flip That. While Chuu is joining in the comeback promotions, it has been announced that she will not participate in LOONA’s world tour which will kick off starting in August. Please tell us any behind-the-scenes stories from Flip That! Heejin: Haseul unnie sang her adlib at “flip it flip itttt” so sweetly that it was funny (ㅎㅎ) Hyunjin: When filming the MV in the train station, we laughed for so long while looking at each others’ faces that my mouth had muscle spasms ㅋㅋㅋ Haseul: Because the choreo was easier than previous albums, I thought I wouldn’t sweat, but the song’s fast, so I don’t get to rest. So I think I sweat on stage more than I thought I would. Yeojin: We filmed part of the MV outdoors, and I saw frogs ㅎㅎ Vivi: There were lots of scenes of us smiling in the MV, and after smiling for a long time, my cheeks got stiff ㅎㅎ Kim Lip: I put on ribbon earrings that were bewilderingly large. Jinsoul: It was almost my first time just smiling this widely for recording, so whenever I monitored myself, it felt totally new. Even having thoughts like, “This is LOONA, right..?” ㅋㅋ Choerry: There’s a story about a time where we had to act sleepy and bored, and I actually fell asleep..! Yves: Working hard at filming for a pretty picture, for a longer time than expected, the members really really worked hard. To Orbit It’s me, who has continued to perfectly live out the life of a lazy perfectionist, making vain the days when, facing 2022, I made new resolutions to live diligently this year and to buy a pretty diary and record every day. With the nice excuse of occasionally taking a break while running straight ahead, I slowly walk and see the footprints that have followed me well so far. May, among the pages of the 12 months, in that way; It’s just the right time for me to look back. With my poor memory, I squint and stare intently all the way in the distance. It looks like the footprints from January are still dreaming, awash in winter hibernation. With eyes closed, dreaming quite the happy dream in my head, I’m just kicking in place and whipping up dust. Though I thought I was doing a beautiful dance, I must have been an absurd sight. How about the footprints of February? Seeing as how the continued footprints have gotten deeper at some point, I suppose I must have stood still here for a while. I met the people I had missed, those whom I had desired to see so much. Even now as I write, my shadow may be here; but my self has dashed through this quiet room like the wind, and I am there alone, back in that place where we faced each other. We did not speak, yet in our eyes we cried and laughed and embraced each other. Perhaps the spring had already started then. For I saw the verdant leaves that grew after the rain had stopped, soaked in a rain by the name of tribulation. The footprints of March are meandering, for some reason. Ah. I thought spring had come, but the biting winds had me swaying like so. My precious puppy who was by my side for 13 years fell very ill. I thought I had been hit by enough rain, but I went through a monsoon lasting days and days And I yelled out ‘I’m sorry’ with my eyes, my eyes, flowing down. Ever since that day, the sky [T/N: “Haneul”] that I used to love Now leaves me with a dull ache each time I look up. The footprints of April are close by, and so I now see them plainly. I lightly lift my wet feet, full of moisture, and with verve, march past under the heat of the sun. Finally, I’ve arrived at the May of the present. In May already, I’ve made this many footprints. Hello, this is Blockberry Creative. LOONA members Haseul, Yeojin, and Vivi have tested positive for COVID-19. Ahead of a schedule on the 25th, some LOONA members tested positive with self-diagnosis kits and were moved to the hospital. Following the hospital’s guidance, rapid antigen and PCR tests were conducted. Haseul, Yeojin, and Vivi were confirmed positive on the 26th. Yeojin has completed her 3rd vaccine shot, while Haseul and Vivi have each completed their 2nd vaccine shots. These three members have ceased all activities for now, and are taking necessary measures and resting in accordance with the guidelines of the quarantine authorities. Orbits, the princess is here ⸜(♡'ᗜ'♡)⸝ Have you all been well?! Already the year has changed and it's January 30, as we gaze towards the end of January...!!! My debut anniversary has come!!(•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑ Every January I think, 'Time has passed by this quickly already..?' I'm still very young, but ever since I became an adult, I've been feeling this even more strongly every new year. So on last year too, as always, I have a lot of disappointments.
